Another 1st!!!!!!

Well i haven't posted in a while i have been soooo busy with baseball, i coach my oldest son. We are a traveling team pretty much so my dog time has taken a back seat. I had to attend the best of the west trial, it is always alot of fun!

I ran on saturday 3 runs, i tell you what doc continues to amaze me i honestly haven't ran him on birds since the last trial in provo in january, i have felt so guilty! He finished the day with...

1st place, and 2 fourth places. There were 32 dog's that ran in each field! So anyway i was so happy for doc he truly is a man's best friend and an outstanding birddog.

We ran Sunday also and had great runs we were in placements in 2 of the 3 field but just got beat out to fourth in one and not sure in the other. Doc was in bad shape today he had 2 sore front pads and i pretty much had to carry him to the kennel tonight. He still gave everything he had today.

Utah Regional Trial

Well we finished the year up in good fashion. Doc finished 4Th in the Utah regional finals, for only starting his trialing career in 09 he did outstanding. He accumulated 5 points in just a couple trials and is showing some great promise. He is 2 now and we are excited for the future!

"doc"

Well, all i can say is doc is one of the most amazing dog's i have owned to date. I got the opprotunity to purchase doc from a good friend, and when i first saw him i wasn't sure if i should buy him or not he was a year old and was like a wild coyote. But i couldn't pass him up just for the fact of his lineage. He is a pick of the litter from a frozen semen breeding. His sire is Honkytonk Attitude, probably one of the most famous english pointer's out there. He was known for his stunning style and a cannon for a nose.He was bred to a great dam, run n gun blue jazz and doc was born.

I started to give doc some tlc and he started to turn the corner very fast and has one of the best dispositions in any dog i have ever owned. I started to train doc and was amazed at how smart he was, this dog had more natural ability than i could believe. Before i knew it doc was trained and forcefetched and ready for his first wild bird season. I could see very fast that i had something special, all this within a year! He now has turned 2 and is doing very, very well.

Stay tuned!!!!
